At the end of each school year, students at The Crossroads School prepare Presentations of Learning. This process requires each student to reflect on the progress that he or she has made by selecting work samples that best represent their development as a learner and citizen. These presentations are rich opportunities for students to present before a panel made up of parents, teachers, community members and their peers in order to articulate specific successes, struggles, projects, and experiences that have contributed to their learning.
We are in desperate need of panelists for a few dates. Panelists help judge presentations and provide the authentic audience students need. We would be honored if you would consider spending a full day or a half day serving as a panelist for this year's Presentations of Learning. If anyone on the Baltimore Teach For America staff can join us, we would love to have them. The dates can be on any day between:
Monday, May 13th through Friday, May 17th from 8 am-11 am & 12 pm-3 pm.
Please respond to [email protected] with your contact information and a few dates and times that you are available.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Brian Zimmerman
